Sebanyak 9 guru dan tenaga kependidikan MI Ma’arif NU 1 Kedungwringin mengikuti program vaksinasi lanjutan atau suntik booster di Aula SMA Negeri Jatilawang, Jum’at (28/1). Diantara ratusan peserta yang ikut hadir sebagai penerima vaksin dosis ketiga ini adalah guru dan tenaga kependidikan MI Ma’arif NU 1 Kedungwringin.
Ketua Satgas Covid-19 Kecamatan Jatilawang, mengatakan ada sekitar 1.000 guru dan tenaga kependidikan se-Kecamatan Jatilawang akan mendapat suntik vaksin yang dilakukan secara bertahap.
Untuk suntik vaksin ketiga ini, pihaknya menggunakan jenis vaksin pfizer sebagai vaksin heterolog. Sebelumnya platform yang digunakan untuk dosis pertama dan kedua adalah vaksin sinovac. ”Dua kali dosis vaksin primer kita menggunakan sinovac, tapi yang ketiga ini dengan pfizer agar lebih heterolog karena pemerintah memandang akan lebih mampu meningkatkan daya kekebalan dan daya tahan tubuh kita,”paparnya
Meski menggunakan jenis vaksin yang berbeda dari vaksin primer sebelumnya, efek samping dari vaksin relatif hampir sama. Umumnya pada pemberian vaksin primer hanya beberapa orang saja yang mengalami demam, sakit kepala, lemas, dan mialgia. Namun, gejala tersebut hanya bersifat sementara.

Seperti diketahui, pemberian vaksin Covid-19 dosis ketiga oleh pemerintah ini dianggap penting untuk meningkatkan antibodi secara penuh untuk terhindar dari virus SAR-CoV-2. Melalui program vaksin booster ini, diharapkan warga masyarakat nantinya akan lebih semakin sehat dan tangguh dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya setelah nantinya pandemi berakhir dan covid-19 dinyatakan sebagai endemi.
